You can register for IELTS online directly on the website of the British Council Bulgaria or at English Academy, whether or not you attend a preparation course with us.

1. Choose the IELTS Test You Need
Before registering, check which IELTS test is appropriate for you:

2. Choose an Exam Date
Select a suitable test session from the upcoming dates and check that places are still available.
3. Pay the Exam Fee
The exam fee should be paid directly to the British Council:

Please include the candidate’s full name, the exam abbreviation IELTS, selected exam date and registration place (English Academy) in the payment reference.
Before making the payment, please check the current exam fee.
4. Register for the Exam
Register online directly on the website of the British Council Bulgaria, administrator for IELTS for Bulgaria.
If you need assistance with registration, you can register for IELTS with us at English Academy. Our exam center assistants will help you fill in the documents. You do not need to be our student to register for the exam with us.
Please bring with you your ID card/passport and a proof of a bank transfer.
5. Receive Confirmation
Once your registration has been successfully completed, you will receive confirmation and the necessary information about your exam.
Candidates who register through English Academy can collect their certificates from us once they are available.
Places for individual test sessions are limited.
Available test dates may change.
The exam fee does not include a preparation course at English Academy.
The conditions for changing a test date, cancelling a registration or receiving a refund are determined by the British Council.
Full details about your test session will be provided once your registration has been completed.
Listening, Reading and Writing are completed as part of the same test session.
The Speaking test may be scheduled in a separate time slot. You will receive the exact time and organisational details for your Speaking test after registration.
Results for IELTS on Computer are available electronically through the Test Taker Portal.
Candidates can access their electronic Test Report Form (eTRF), which can be used when applying to universities, employers and other organisations.
English Academy offers specialised IELTS preparation courses covering Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking, as well as exam strategies and mock tests.
